Maintaining an Attitude of Gratitude
Having an attitude of gratitude comes from being truly grateful for what is in your life.
This is a conscious decision intended to realize the blessings in your life with the emotion
that is coupled with it. This is real gratitude, a thankfulness that is true, coming from the
heart and soul of your very being.

What this does is align your energy so that you are vibrationally in harmony with that
which you desire.

How would you do this when things are not going well?  I suggest that you follow the
following steps for a week until you figure out a way that works well for you and becomes
part of your daily routine similar to your daily morning routines.

    1.         When you wake up, take a couple of minutes to say Thank you for 5 things that
you are truly grateful for. It may be the home you live in, the job you have, the car you
drive, the friends that bring you joy and laughter.
    2.         Make a conscious effort to stop complaining about your life. Each time you
come across something negative in your day, take a deep breath and find something to be
thankful for in that situation. Let's say you have just had a tough conversation with an
aggressive co-worker. Take a deep breath and be grateful that you learn how to deal with
different personalities as part of your job experience. This positive energy will increase
your ability to deal with this. In addition, set an intention to surround yourself with
co-workers that have the right attitude and visualize positive interactions with these
colleagues.
    3.        Again, at the end of the day, find three things that you can be grateful for. This
allows you to retire for the day in a positive mindset.

Feeling grateful or appreciative
of someone or something in
your life actually attracts more
of the things that you appreciate
or value into your life.

There are only two ways to live
your life. One is as though
nothing is a miracle. The other is
as though everything is a
miracle. --Albert Einstein
Be grateful so you can have more to be grateful for...
